The Women’s Group is going to have a movie night on Friday, May 18th at 6:30 pm. We will be watching the movie ‘Mom’s Night out’. The movie begins at 7pm and snacks will be provided. Save the date and plan to come and enjoy the fellowship.
All the men of our church are invited to a gathering at City Hill Northshore Church on Monday, May 21st for dinner at 6 pm and a meeting at 7 pm. Two former Navy Seals will be sharing their testimonies of how God has helped them overcome an addiction to pornography and other issues in their lives.
Planning is under way for this year’s Vacation Bible School. The theme is “Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus.” The dates are July 8th thru 12th from 5:30 pm to 8:15 pm. VBS is open to children 4 years old thru 5th grade. If you would like to help with VBS please speak to Dina Pan. We need help picking up the set from Northlake Christian Church on Friday, June 29th at 12:30 pm and help decorating the church on Saturday, July 7th. There will be a meeting for all VBS volunteers on Sun. July 1st at 12 pm.
After the service on May 27th there will be a meeting of all the current ushers and those interested in joining the usher crews. We will be reviewing current usher duties and discussing the new security plan. Anyone interested in being an usher or has already agreed to join the usher crews should plan to attend. The meeting should take no more than 45 minutes and will start at noon downstairs.
KCC has a benevolent fund to help people in our church and
community when they need help with food, utilities, rent, etc. If you would like to contribute to the benevolent fund use the giving envelope in the pew, note the amount in the “other “ box and label it “Benevolent Fund.”
