“Kenmore Happenings” July 11-18, 2021

Staying Safe and Healthy at KCC:

Following the latest CDC guidelines we are no longer requiring face coverings for those who are fully vaccinated. The decision to wear or not wear a mask at our services will be left up to each person as they consider what is best for their health and well being.

Children’s Church and Nursery:

Our Children’s Church and Nursery are temporarily suspended. Children are asked to sit with their parents. The Nursery is available for nursing mothers and diaper changes. Children’s activity pages are located on the back table.

Our Small Group Bible Studies are taking a break until September.

Prayer Meeting

Thursday 11:45 am via Zoom.

Youth Group takes place on Wednesday nights from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and is for students in 6th thru 12th grade.  Sign up to provide a meal for the youth group (about 8 people) on the table in back.

We now have some assisted listening devices available for those who might need one to better hear our morning worship service.

Volunteers are needed to serve as ushers and greeters on Sunday morning. We are asking people to serve for one month at a time. We are also looking for someone to serve as our Welcoming Ministry Coordinator. This person oversees our ushers and greeters, and works with Pastor Mark in following up with our visitors.

The Hopelink Mobile Market (food bank) is temporarily suspending their operations due to a staff shortage. They hope to resume the Mobile Market in September. As a result, their distributions on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at KCC will not take place in July and August.
